Still having an image of doing a cycling holiday, I though it about time a bought a new bike and as mountain bikes were all the rage, and I had a desire to tour the English Lake District, this is the bike I bought in 1988.

I kept this bike until c2002 where I was about to scrap it in the skip I had when clearing out my house. But, when the skip was collected, the driver's son asked if he could have it.  I'm really glad it went to somebody else and not in the tip!
